The 2-3 hours downtime on saturday 12/5/2012 is due to the malware script on the server
According the statement of our technical support team,
There is a security loophole in the PHP5
After the technician fix the loopholes by using a new update
The network on the datacenter has down
According to datacenter technician, the DNS system has be DDOS by hacker on Arab countries
It is a huge attack, So the solution is just close the system and wait until the attack end
I need to clarify that there is no solution to prevent or block a DDOS attack without any downtime
No, Even we use a few million hardware firewall also can't prevent or block
This is because a server had to open a public port like 80 for http, 21 for ftp, 443 for https
DDOS attack is attack through a public port, unless we shut down the port (But a server is useless without a public port)
So, The solution is to prepare a backup server, please turn to next page for the prices of backup server
A backup server will auto backup the data on the main server everyday during the low bandwidth hours
So, we can cut down the downtime during any issue that cause the server down
The technician say, it only need no more then 30 minutes to make a backup server run after they confirm the downtime will take more then a hours
I understand that is impossible to purchase another server without cutting down other cost or the sales is not increase
So, I suggest we move the server to USA please turn to page three for the detail of USA datacenter
The Managing director of the datacenter is willing to provide us a good offer if we prepaid one year fees, It is a good deal, isn't it?
I know everyone will worry about the speed of the server, so I do prepare the detail about CDN technology, Please turn to page four
Cloudflare had provide a free CDN server and they had few cache server in asia country
Like singapore, Hongkong, Japan. Everyone know that japan and hongkong is the most advanced internet country on asia
Now, I hope the shareholder and CEO look through the contract with Usa datacenter
